Browsing Liberty London...

OVERVIEW // Liberty has been delivering London's finest fashion, interior design, and home goods since 1924. Many items are exclusive to this truly unique department store.

WHERE // Regent Street. Take the Central, Bakerloo, or Victoria line to Oxford Circus.

COST // Small giftables can be found for around ten pounds (score!). Last seasons designer clothing is available for half price or less! Despite high price tags, this store is truly about the experience of walking through the beautiful displays and tudor-style building.

HIGHLIGHT // The uniqueness of the building and the wonderfully displayed product. It was like going through a huge London-style anthropologie! And the employees were quite friendly.

A rotation on The London Eye...

OVERVIEW // The London Eye is Europe's tallest ferris wheel. It opened in 2000 as a temporary structure, but its enormous success gave it permanent real estate along the River Thames.

WHERE // Take the tube to Westminster and stroll across Westminster bridge (a great photo op with Big Ben!), and turn left. You can't miss it!

COST // The cost for a prepurchased ticket online is 21.20 pounds ($27.94 at the time of this post). You will make one rotation for a duration of 30 minutes.

HIGHLIGHT // A great view of the entire city lit up at night!

Strolling around Open Garden Squares Weekend...

OVERVIEW // Open Garden Squares Weekend happens once every summer in London. Many private and public gardens are made available for all to enjoy, and it happened the weekend we arrived in London! I discovered it while reading a small café's newsletter in Earl's Court. If the weekend does not align with your trip, be sure to seek out a public garden in South Kensington - the nighborhood is beautiful and the English really know their gardens.

WHERE // ALL over London! I chose to stay in the South Kensington and Chelsea neighborhood. You receive a booklet with a map and description of all of the gardens when you purchase your entry ticket.

COST // The cost for unlimited garden access both Saturday and Sunday is 12 pounds. You can also choose to purchase single tickets for 4 pounds at the gate of each garden if you think you will only visit one or two gardens.

HIGHLIGHT // Feeling like I was in a fairytale at the small church garden - Courtfield Gardens!
